How to Take Photos of Unsuccessful Login Attempts on Windows 8

Is someone trying to access your PC in your absence? And if your thinking of taking pictures of the person who is trying to access your pc with unsuccessful login attempts, Guess what Lockscreen Pro is here, a Windows application to take pictures through your webcam whenever there is unsuccessful login attempts.

To start, download the Lockscreen Pro application for your computer. The application comes in zip archived format. Download and extract the files in a folder named Lockscreen Pro for convince.
The user interface of the Lockscreen pro completely looks like Windows 8 UI and we can add information system time and battery percentage. The application has some default backgrounds but you can also pick images from local folders.
For the unsuccessful login attempts we have to configure settings of Lockscreen pro and every time if someone tries to login on your machine with wrong password. The application will take a snapshot through your webcam and add the timestamp on it with the local timings.
Whenever we will login on machine with correct credentials, we can see the images of unsuccessful login attempts of that person along with the date and time.
After configuring the Lockscreen pro, we need to set up a new password for the application. By default the password for the application is admin, make sure you change the default password. Once your finished click the done button and you will be prompted with an option to test the lock screen.
Hit the Lock button to start the application. Screen will be locked just like the Windows 8 lock screen, type some wrong password before you type the correct one to check whether the Lockscreen pro is taking snapshots or not.

Take Care of Two Important Things


You can't restore password for the Lockscreen pro once forgotten, so to remain safe the application comes with a handy feature to unlock the application with USB unlocking. Please ensure you enable this feature in the application settings. Go to application settings and enable the option Unlock with USB.
When you enable this option, the application will ask you to plug-in USB and a unlock file will be created in USB. Make sure you never delete this file from USB as its the only key for unlocking the screen when locked by Lockscreen Pro. It is best recommended to save a copy of this file in cloud service.
